Is Keyra free to use? ▼
Yes! Keyra is completely free to download and use. There are no subscription fees. We only charge network fees when you make transactions, which go directly to the blockchain.
How do I backup my wallet? ▼
During setup, you'll receive a 12-word recovery phrase. Write it down on paper and store it in a safe place. Never share it with anyone. This phrase can restore your wallet on any device.
Which blockchains are supported? ▼
Keyra supports Ethereum, Bitcoin, Solana, TON, TRON, Polygon, BSC, Arbitrum, Optimism, and Base. We're constantly adding more chains based on user demand.
Is Keyra open source? ▼
Yes! Our core security components are open source and audited. You can review the code on GitHub. Transparency is fundamental to trust in crypto.
How is Keyra different from MetaMask? ▼
Keyra is built to be mobile-first and multi-chain by default (including Bitcoin and TON), with a modern glassmorphism design. It focuses on faster signing, clearer transaction details, and safety features like warnings and risk signals. Account Abstraction for gasless transactions is on the roadmap.
What is the recovery phrase? ▼
Your recovery phrase (also called seed phrase) is a list of 12 or 24 words that acts as the master key to your wallet. Anyone with these words can access your funds, so keep them offline and secure.
Does Keyra support hardware wallets? ▼
Hardware wallet support is planned for 2026. This will allow you to connect Ledger or Trezor devices for enhanced security.
Can I use Keyra on multiple devices? ▼
Yes! Simply import your recovery phrase on the new device. Your balances and transaction history will sync once you restore your wallet.
How does Keyra keep my funds secure? ▼
Keyra uses military-grade AES-256 encryption, biometric authentication (Face ID/fingerprint), and a hardened on-device key vault. We also implement runtime protection to detect tampering and suspicious environments.
What happens if I lose my device? ▼
As long as you have your 12-word recovery phrase, you can restore your wallet on any device. Your funds are not stored on our servers - they're on the blockchain, accessible only with your keys.
Does Keyra support DeFi integrations? ▼
Yes! Keyra supports swaps and bridges through integrated DEX aggregators. You can trade tokens directly within the app with competitive rates.
